D&Department Kyotoに行ってきました。

ナガオカケンメイさんの「Long life design」というコンセプト。
そのコンセプトに感銘して、大阪店に行った時のことを思い出します。

「Long life design」とは…
ほんとうに良いデザインであれば飽きずに長く使えるはずである。
使い捨てではない、物を大切に、長く利用するという考え方。
そのために、良いデザインの商品を開発・紹介していくという事業。

京都店は京都造形芸術大学とのコラボ店ということで、
置いてある雑貨も京都のものが多くなっています。

カフェではおぜんざいやお茶漬けなどのこちらも京都っぽい内容。
時間のある時にゆ〜っくりするのにいい場所ですね。
