今日は今宮祭というお祭りの日でした。
４つの地区の集まった大きなお祭りということで、
御神輿や鉾などの巡行行列も長く
獅子舞が出て来たり、太鼓の演奏があったり
なかなか充実していました。

夕方４時ごろには紫月のすぐそばの御旅所に
御神輿が集まり、夜には出店も出ていました。

こういう地域のお祭りがさかんなのも京都ならではではないでしょうか。

今宮祭は毎年子供の日に行われるそうです。
