紫月の近所の公園にようやく咲いた「御室桜」。
みごとな八重桜で、とっても鮮やかです。
近くに寄って見ると小さなダリアみたいです。

桜観賞スポットとしては穴場なのが堀川沿いに咲く桜。
四条から北に向かって、いろんな桜が観賞できます。
堀川沿いは夏には七夕企画など、いろんな催しがあって飽きないスポットです。

桜情報を提供していた雨宝院ですが、
桜が咲いたころ再度行ってきました。

なんと、前回行った時はひっそりとしていたのに
やはり桜で有名なだけあります、
すごい人だかりとなっていました。

うわさの緑の桜「御衣黄」は、さわやかなグリーンで、
妙に気品がただよっていました。
その他いろんな桜が咲き誇っているので目移りするのですが、
お気に入りは艶やかなしだれ桜でした。

雨宝院の良さは、小さな敷地内に見るものが満載で
そこにいるだけで楽しくなる空気感でしょうか。
