展示会といっても、普通にオープンしているお店に
作品が展示されるという、おもしろい形での展示です。
お店と作品が両方見れて一石二鳥ですね。

御池通りの真ん中で見た大船鉾は
全体のバランスもよく、とっても美しかったです。

今回前祭と後祭に分かれたおかげで、
いつもは見きれなかった山鉾の見学ができたり、
お祭を２回楽しめるお特感があってよかったと思います。
特に後祭は夜店が出ないので、
通りが混雑せずゆったりと宵山を満喫できました。

あまりにも人が多いので人通りが一方通行のみに規制されるなど、
どの山鉾よりも大賑わいの大船鉾でした。
大船鉾の設計士さん（紫月の設計士さんでもある）にもごあいさつし、
立派な飾りをつけた大船鉾の見学ができました。

その後、知り合いの方のお宅におじゃまし、
屏風祭をおうちの中から見学させていただいたり、
素敵なお庭を見せていただいたりと大満足の宵山となりました。

知り合いの方に会うため山伏山に。
こちらの奥では茅の輪くぐりができるのです。
6月29日に茅の輪くぐりができなかったので、
ここで厄よけを〜と並びました。
とってもりっぱな茅の輪に感動でした。

その後、ごはんを食べて、
かまりき山にて「かまきりおみくじ」なるものを見物しました。
かまきりが持ってくる白い玉に番号が書かれていて、
その番号のおみくじがいただけるとのことでした。

今年は49年ぶりに後祭が行われることとなり、
後祭の目玉はなんと言っても150年ぶりに巡行に参加するという「大船鉾」。
実は、紫月の設計をしていただいた設計士がこの大船鉾の設計担当です〜。

比較的平坦な京都で、小高い丘が２つ、
１つは紫月のすぐ近くにある船岡山、
そしてもう１つは京大のすぐ近くにある吉田山。
「茂庵」はその吉田山の上にある、隠れ家的cafeです。

行こうと思えばいつでも行けるのに、
ちょっと特別な場所な気がしていました。
行ってみると、やっぱりとても素敵な所でした。
建物もそうですが、周りの環境が最高です。
緑の中の一軒家という感じ。
まさかここが京都の街中だとは思えないほど。
