今回のお客様は自転車で観光されました。
紫月から徒歩15分くらいのところにある
「京都ちりんちりん」にてレンタルされました。
こちらの自転車はおしゃれな感じで乗り心地も良さそうです。

京都の街中は平坦なので、自転車で快適に観光できます。
特に今のシーズンは観光の車で道が混むので、
バスよりも自転車の方が効率よく移動できておすすめです。

紫月に宿泊の際、どこをどうまわったらいいかわからないなど、
観光ルートのご相談もお気軽にどうぞ。

縁側の間での朝ごはんの様子を写真にてご紹介。
お庭を見ながらゆっくりしていただけたようです。

お泊りの様子

今日の紫月のお客様は知り合いのとってもかわいい女子グループでした。
お願いして、お泊りの様子を写真に撮らせていただきました。

やはり女子会、常に笑い声が絶えません。
お部屋でくつろいだり、
お風呂の後に井戸端コーナーでほっこりしたり…。
終始とても楽しそうに過ごされていました。

紫月の周りには西陣さらさなど素敵なカフェもありますが、
お部屋でゆっくり一杯もいいかと思います。

みかんのマーマレード

この間のみかんの木の剪定で、
まだ黄色くなっていないみかんがたくさん収穫できたので
そろそろ何かをつくらないと…
と考えて、マーマレードを作ることに。

初めてのマーマレード作りで、どうなるのか。
まずはみかんの実と汁を集める作業。
これが結構たいへん。
目標30個だったけど、20個で断念…。順調に煮詰め開始。
すると、外がなにやら騒がしくなってきた。
表に出ると、子ども神輿が通過中。
今日は近所の水火天満宮のお祭りらしい。
しばらくすると、大人の神輿もやって来ました。
お〜かっこいい〜！
男の人が神輿を担ぐ姿ってなんであんなに凛々しいのだろう。

そして…みかんマーマレードは無事完成です。
紫月にお泊りのお客様には、
期間限定にてお出ししますので、お楽しみに。

水火天満宮は菅原道真公をお奉りした日本最初の天満宮です。
紫月からは徒歩８分ほどです。
